Scenic Corridor Litter Pickup

Scottsdale Pride Day "Treasurers & Trash"

Lucky Volunteers Needed

 October 28th Cleanup: 7:30 – 10:00 AM

Win Prizes, Free T-Shirt, Help the Community

Don't miss this annual Scottsdale Pride happening. Join your neighbors in looking for "gold" amidst the litter. We need your help to cleanup Pima, Pinnacle Peak, Scottsdale Roads and adjacent streets. You can get lucky and find a gold rock along the roadside. Turn in the rock for a valuable prize from the City of Scottsdale's Pride Commission..

3 Check-in locations available

Check-in at 7:30 AM at the location that is most convenient for you: 1) in front of AJ’s store at the SE corner of Pinnacle Peak and Pima Roads, 2) at the Scenic Drive monument sign on the east side of Scottsdale Road, just south of Jomax, and 3) at the Scenic Drive entry sign on the west side of Scottsdale Road, in front of the Terravita Marketplace.

Free t-shirts, coffee, donuts, water

Volunteers will receive a free, commemorative t-shirt from the Pride Commission. Free coffee and donuts will be available at all sign-in locations. When volunteers register they will be assigned a section of roadside, given trash bags and issued safety vests. Litter pickup sticks will also be available. Once again, Rawhide is donating coffee.

The Scottsdale Pride Commission organizes the citywide event. In north Scottsdale, The Greater Pinnacle Peak HOA, and the Desert Foothills Property Owners and Friends of the Scenic Drive are joining forces to support this community event. This year’s effort in north Scottsdale is being dedicated to the memory of Don Schoenau, who organized numerous volunteer cleanup efforts in the Pinnacle Peak area.
