Roadside CleanupsFriends of the Scenic Drive conducts roadsides cleanups on a regular basis from September through June. In addition to scheduled, publicized efforts, some Friends volunteers pick up litter on their own in between. The result is that the northern part of Scottsdale Road is one of the cleanest roads in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
