     Friends of the Scenic Drive is a division of the the Greater Pinnacle Peak Association (GPPA). GPPA distributes a monthly electronic newsletter as a complimentary service to the community and supplements information published in The Peak magazine. GPPA began distributing the e-Peak Newsletter in September 2007 and the list of subscribers has grown very quickly.  

     We live in a rapidly growing area. The newsletter keeps subscribers  up-to-date on late-breaking news and upcoming meetings/events related to environmental education, development, desert preservation, wildlife conservation, and quality of life in the North Scottsdale, Carefree, Cave Creek, northeast Phoenix, and Rio/Tonto Verde communities. The newsletter provides interesting articles and the latest information about upcoming Peak editorial opportunities and community events, including shows, art exhibits, etc.

    The Peak is available at the beginning of the month. The newsletter will be e-mailed to subscribers on or after the 15th of every month. E-mail addresses are protected and you can automatically opt-out of the subscriber list at any time.
